Depois de 25 anos
dedicados à locação de filmes, o empresário Adalberto Alfredo Azevedo Junior,
50, decidiu encerrar as atividades da Stuk Vídeo Locadora, a última desse tipo
de ramo em Piraju.

A decisão levou em
conta as dificuldades para manter a empresa. O avanço da pirataria e o boom das
plataformas de streaming, como o Netflix, foram determinantes para minar esse
tipo de negócio.
Há pouco mais de
um ano, Adalberto está administrando uma empresa de ração para animais em
Avaré, onde também uma outra locadora de filmes da família fechou as portas.
“Eu tenho muito
gratidão pelos clientes. Se não fossem eles, a gente não teria mantido a
empresa por tanto tempo”, diz o empresário.
Desde o início do
mês, todo o acervo da Stuk Vídeo está à venda. Os DVDs estão sendo vendido de
R$ 5,00 a R$ 25,00.
